Persecuted Christians Need Our Prayer!

Persecuted Christians Need Our Prayer! In the United States, we have a lot to be thankful for. On the top of the list is Religious Freedom, giving us the right to worship our Lord Jesus free from persecution (from the government). This does not mean that we will not be persecuted from the world, we just can not go to jail for it (currently).

This is not the case in many other parts of the world. There is a great revival happening in Iran as people are coming to the awareness that Jesus is Lord. Even so, it is still illegal there to practice Christianity.

As reported by Open Doors, Nasser Navard Gol-Tapeh is currently in his 2nd year of a ten year sentence. The crime? Opening and facilitating house churches. That’s right, the very act of establishing meetings, and worshiping the Lord in the privacy of someones home is illegal in Iran.

We pray that all of our brother and sisters in Christ be sheltered from persecution throughout the world, and that the very presence of believers in prison means that those in prison who would not otherwise be exposed to the gospel, are now having their lives changed.

In the same way that Peter was released from prison in Acts 12, we pray that the doors of this prison would miraculously swing open allowing for his release. Below is a video message from him requesting prayer support while he is imprisoned. God bless you all.
